Timmia Paradice, 90, of Vidor died Saturday, March 3, 2007 at her residence. A native of Leggett, Texas in Polk County, she has lived in Vidor for 41 years, and was a retired school teacher with Vidor Independent School District. She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Vidor, and a charter member of Friends of the Vidor Public Library. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Paradice, parents Ed and Bertice Holder, and brother Clarence Holder. She is survived by her son Sam Paradice of Vidor, daughter Belle Eanes and her husband Ed of Vidor, brother Edward Holder of Leggett, TX., and sister Norine Gotcher of Mission, TX., and a host of nieces and nephews.
