Tommi Frances Wylie 68, of Vidor, passed away on Monday, December 25th, 2023, at Vidor Health and Rehab. Born in Beaumont, Tommi was a steadfast resident of Vidor throughout her life, leaving an indelible mark on the community she called home. She was a dedicated member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church, where her faith and kindness resonated with all who knew her. Professionally, Tommi served as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for 15 years, demonstrating compassion and care to those entrusted to her. Her commitment to the well-being of others extended beyond the workplace and into her everyday life. Tommi had a vibrant spirit and a passion for life's simple joys. She had a special fondness for the color green, which reflected her love for nature and the beauty it held. In her leisure time, Tommi found solace in crouching, a meditative practice that allowed her to connect with the world around her. An artist at heart, Tommi enjoyed expressing herself through various forms of artwork. Tommi is survived by her loving children: Robert Arrington of Sulphur, LA; Phillip Freeman of Miami, FL; and Timothy Freeman of Vidor, TX. Each of them carries forward the legacy of her love and the values she instilled in them. She is also survived by her dear brother, George Arrington of Port Neches, TX, Tommi's memory will live on in the hearts of her 9 grandchildren.
