Tommy Parrott

Tommy Joe Parrott of Vidor, Texas passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021, at the age of 74. Tommy died peacefully with his beloved wife Leah by his side. Tommy Joe was born in Beaumont on January 22, 1947, to father Thomas Edward Parrott and mother Pearl Leona DeShazo. Tommy enlisted in the Navy but was honorably discharged due to an auto racing accident. Tommy was a welder and an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister Marie Parrott Skibo. He is survived by his wife Leah Parrott; children Michele Marie Schneider and Carie Ann Sabo; grandchildren Michael Schneider, Savannah Schneider, Alexander Sabo and Mathew Sabo, and nieces Brenda Wallace, Cindy Cross and nephew Joel Wallace. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, April 30, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Alazan Cemetery in Nacogdoches, Texas.
