Toya Annette Swearingen, 69, of Vidor, died Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 at her home. She was born and raised in Port Arthur but is a longtime resident of Vidor. She served her country with the U.S. Army as a nurse during Vietnam and was also received her sharp shooter award. She loved watching her grandkids play sports and getting to spend time with them, reading, fishing, listening to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and loved watching The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and old westerns. The family will have a graveside service for her on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. She is survived by her brothers David and wife Laura LeBlanc of Royal Oak, MI and Charles LeBlanc of Houston, TX, grandchildren: Austin Werth of Vidor, TX, Erin Hebert and significant other Nick Dean of Vidor, TX, Troy and wife Brittany Hebert of Vidor, TX, Blake and Lacie Hebert of Mauriceville, TX, and Aden Hebert of Vidor, TX, and great grandchildren: Weston, Carson, Bryson, Brixleigh, Hadleigh, Riley, Nayomie, and Waylon.
