It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ty Edward Jones, a beloved son, brother, boyfriend, and friend, who left this world on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024, at his residence in Vidor. Born on May 13, 2004, in Beaumont, TX, Ty was a lifelong resident of Vidor, where he touched the lives of many with his kindness and warmth. Ty was known for his love of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting hogs, fishing at the creek, and admiring cars. He approached life with a strong work ethic, always willing to lend a helping hand, and his infectious smile brightened the lives of those around him. Ty is survived by his loving parents, Tad and Kala Jones, his devoted sister, Tatum Jones, and his girlfriend, Faith Smith, who held a special place in his heart. He will be deeply missed by his grandparents, Thomas and Marilyn Jones, Tangi and LaDonna Constance, and great-grandparents Norris Constance and Sue McQuhae. He is also survived by his uncle, Tommy, and wife Jennifer Jones, aunts Brandy and husband Tom Scolaro, Brittany and husband Chase Camp, Brandi and husband Frank Turner, along with numerous cousins, all of whom cherished their time with Ty. Ty was preceded in death by his grandmother, Karla Landry, and great-grandparents Willard and Ivy Jones, Jeanette Constance, Huey and Billie Claybrook, and Robert Marshall. Though Ty's time with us was far too short, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will forever be remembered for his kind spirit, his zest for life, and the love he shared with those around him. A celebration of Ty's life will be held in remembrance of the joy he brought to all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace, and may his family find comfort in the cherished memories they shared with him.
