Velma Anderson

Velma Anderson, co-founder of Anderson Studio of Photography & former employee of American Real Estate in Beaumont, Texas passed away on April 14, 2021. She was referred to by many as Miss Velma, and was a major contributor in her community through her business and more so, through her genuine caring for people. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and was committed to helping others and sharing her wisdom through studies, actions and example. She was the loving and supportive wife of her husband, Frank Anderson for over 57 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Polly and Cecil Shelton, and her brother, James Marshall Shelton. She is survived by her husband, Frank Anderson, her children, Melodie Anderson Farmer (Jimmy Farmer), Walter Anderson (Gayla Anderson), grandchildren, J.P., Marshall, Christy and Ethan as well as an ever growing list of great grandchildren. Cremation Arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with a Memorial Service to be held at the funeral home on Saturday April 17th at 2:00 PM.
