Velma Frances Boldin

Velma F. Boldin, 77, of Vidor died Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at her residence. A native of Tolbert, Texas she has lived in the Golden Triangle since 1969, and was owner-operator of The Dirt Pit in Lumberton, TX. for 18 years, and was a proud member of the Seniors Club of Vidor. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30+ years Joe Boldin, Sr. She is survived by her sons, Jackie Wayne Evans of Odessa, TX., and Joe Boldin, Jr., of Las Vegas, NV., daughters, Connie Evans, and Donna Evans both of Vidor, brother, Richard Sitz of Midland, TX., sister Reta Ford of Chillicothe, TX., seven grandchildren , and twelve great grandchildren.
