Virginia Dare Richardson

Virginia Richardson, 82, of Mauriceville died Friday, February 20, 2004 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor, Texas. A native of Oakdale, Louisiana she has lived in Mauriceville since 1966, and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be Monday, February 23, 2004 at First Baptist Church of Mauriceville at 1:00 p.m. under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Cryer Cemetery in Oakdale, LA., at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 39 years John, daughter, Virginia Faye Petty of Houston, TX., sister, Velma Fontenot of Oakdale, LA., two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
