Vivian Manriquez, age 86, a beloved resident of Vidor, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, at her residence. Born and raised in Vidor, she was a steadfast member of the community throughout her lifetime.
Vivian was a devoted homemaker, finding joy in caring for her family and creating a warm and loving home. She was a proud graduate of Vidor High School and took great pride in her roots in the town she called home. Known for her culinary skills, Vivian was an excellent cook who delighted in preparing meals for her loved ones.
In addition to her talents in the kitchen, Vivian had a green thumb and found solace in her garden, nurturing plants and flowers with care and dedication. Family was at the center of Vivian's world, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. A woman of faith, Vivian lived her life guided by Christian principles, embodying kindness, compassion, and generosity in all that she did.
Above all, Vivian was a devoted wife, showing unwavering love and care for her husband throughout their years together. Her selflessness and giving nature touched the lives of all who knew her.
Vivian is survived by her loving children, Felicia Manriquez and Roger Manriquez, both of Vidor, TX; her sisters, Connie Carron of China, TX, and Martha Archibeque of Seguin, TX; grandchildren, J. Brooks Bishop VI and Elicia Nacole Cassidy; and great-grandson, Carson M. Cassidy.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Vivian's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
