Wallace R Olmedo

1971 * 2023

Wallace passed away unexpectedly on July02,2023. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Beaumont, Texas on March 01,1971, he was the son of F. Raul Olmedo and Debra L. Padia

He was employed as office manager at All About Ears and he enjoyed those whom he worked with as well as the clientele.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Debra L. Padia and step dad Tom Padia Jr., brothers Jason Olmedo and Cody Williams, sister Emily Zambardino and brother-in-law Todd Zambardino, seven nephews and two nieces, a large extended family and many friends he loved so much.

He was preceded in death by his father F. Raul Olmedo, paternal grandparents F. R. Olmedo Sr and Rosa Elba Olmedo, and maternal grandparents Wallace and Barbara Lyle.

Wallace was an active and happy child who loved spending time with family, enjoyed Sunday School, VBS,and attending school.

As he grew he enjoyed baseball, Boy Scouts, fishing and his growing collection of Hot Wheels.

In Junior High School he discovered his love for music and became an accomplished woodwind doubler for both The Mighty Pirate Marching Band and WestBrook High School where he graduated. He later attended Lamar University.

Wallace was baptized in his Chrisian faith and his heart was to quietly feed those that were hungry and be a friend to the downtrodden.

Though some may say he was stubborn and strong willed he had a heart of gold and a generous spirit. His quick witted sense of humor and infectious laughter were a treasure to those that loved him. He will be eternally loved.

There will be a private family gathering held in the near future to celebrate and honor Wallace's life.

The anchor holds though the sails are torn

I have fallen on my knees as I faced the raging seas

The anchors holds in spite of the storm"
