Wanda Lee Simmons

Wanda Lee Simmons, 87, of Vidor died Thursday, October 20th, 2022 at her residence. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and was a member of Mac Arthur Heights Baptist Church in Orange. She loved fishing and spending time with her family, grand children and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting and would serve people and help whenever she could. Cooking also interested her. She loved visiting with everyone and loved flowers as well as talking about the lord. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation Monday, October 24, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The funeral service will be held Monday October 24, 2022 at 10:00 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Wanda is survived by her husband Harold Simmons of Vidor, TX, her children: Ronda Simmons of Vidor, TX, William "Billy" Simmons of Vidor, TX, Sue and husband Tony Colvin of Orange, TX, Theresa Richard of Vidor, TX, Lawerence "Doc" and wife Mary Christine Simmons of Vidor, TX, Laura and husband James Harder of Vidor, TX, Paula Simmons and wife Kristen Copeland of Porter, TX, and her God-daughter and niece Theresa Tevy and family of Victoria, TX, as well as 16 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Theresa Deshotel, son Harold "Sonny" Simmons, sister Laura Regan, and brother Joseph Dwight Deshotel.
