Wendell Leon Biscamp, 66, of Beaumont. Left this world on Monday, May 15th, 2023. Wendell was born on September 8, 1956 to his parents Floyd Earl and Ollie Jean Biscamp.
Wendell attended French High School and from there he joined the Army. When he came back he went to Tulsa Welding School. He had a long career at least 45 years as a combo welder at all the plants and refineries in the area as well as most of the fab shops.
Wendell was a dare devil, he would try anything like racing his truck at the racetrack. He loved harassing his coworkers, friend, and family members. He could never meet a stranger he would talk to them for hours as if they were his old friends. He was a member of the Vidor AA group for the 30 years.
Wendell had 2 brothers Floyd Earl Jr. and Thomas Wayne Biscamp and a half sister Julie Petrie who preceded him in death.
Wendell is survived by his wife of 16 years Dorothy Jane Daigle Biscamp, a son Billy Biscamp of Vidor, daughter Randi Lee Frazee of Bridge City, and 5 grandchildren. He also has 2 half sisters Eva Smith of Vidor and Barbara Jean Culp of Tulsa, OK.
Services will begin with a visitation this Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. His funeral service will be on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor at 2:00 Pm with interment to follow at Del-Rose Cemetery in Vidor.
