William 'Bill' E. Girlinghouse, Jr.

Bill Girlinghouse, 86, of Vidor died Friday, February 4, 2011 at Vidor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Vidor. A native of Trout, LA, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Bill was a retired Pipefitter with the Lake Charles Local Union. Bill served his country in the United States Navy with the Sea Bees during WWII. Memorial services will be held at 12:15 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2011 at Faith Baptist Church in Vidor. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Bill is survived by his wife Barbara Girlinghouse of Vidor, son Robert Ben Rouse of Alberton, NC., daughters Rosa Musgrave of Baytown, TX., Barbara Jean Davis of Payson, AZ., Janice Harp of Tampa, FL., and Lynn Dearman of Vidor, sisters Ruth Schillings of Haughton, LA., and Lillie McLendon of Shreveport, TX., seventeen grandchildren, and twenty-five great grandchildren.
