William 'Billy'-'Croaker' Edward Saxe

Billy Saxe, 71, of Vidor died Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Vidor Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Beaumont, he has lived in Vidor since 1977, and was a retired process operator with Dupont Beaumont Works after 32 years of service. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a graduate of Beaumont High, he attended Texas A&M and was a member of The Boulevard Boys. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Billy was preceded in death by his parents Tommy and Ellen Saxe, Jr., and brother Tommy Saxe, III. He is survived by his wife Dale Harmon Saxe of Vidor, sons Chad McCraw Harmon of Vidor, and Shawn McCraw of Austin, daughter Stephanie Payne of Beaumont, sister Betty Mitchell of Houston, niece Margaret Mitchell of Houston, and nephew Jimmy Mitchell of Forney, TX., and six grandchildren.
