Willie Thomas Wilson Sr.

Willie Thomas Wilson Sr., 85, of Vidor, passed away on Saturday, December 16th, 2023, in Cave City, AR. Willie was a devoted and longtime resident of Vidor, and in his last year, he resided in Arkansas.

During his working years, Willie contributed to his community as a heavy equipment operator at Rose City Sand Pit, where he dedicated over 30 years of service. His hard work and commitment made a lasting impact on those who worked alongside him.

Willie had a love for the outdoors, particularly for camping. The peacefulness of nature and the simplicity of life outdoors brought him great joy and relaxation.

Funeral services for Willie will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, starting with a visitation at 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. The funeral will commence at 10:00 AM, and interment will follow at Gore Cemetery in Silsbee, TX.

Willie is survived by his sons, Roger Wilson and wife Jackie, and Barren Wilson and wife Monica. His legacy extends to his grandchildren: Michael Martin and his wife, Melissa Martin, Roseanne Coldwell her and husband, Diana Fraser and her husband, Dakota Wilson, Cameron Wilson, Robert Bowman, Stormy K. Woodall, Brandie Wilson, Summer Long, Robert Long, James Thomas Olivia and wife, and Sierra Parker.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. Wilson and Nettie Gore Wilson, his wife Gladys Wilson, and his children: Belenda Gail Biscamp, Willie "Tommy" Wilson Jr., and Eva May Parker. Additionally, grandsons Roger Wilson Jr. and Marcus Lee Biscamp preceded him in death.
