Morris McLane, 84 of Sour Lake died Friday, January 7th, 2022 at his residence. A native of Frankston, Texas, he was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Sour Lake after Hurricane Harvey. He was a member of Vidor Church of Christ and retired from Temple Inland after 30+ years. Morris enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family, but most of all he loved to attend his grandchildren activities. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Morris is survived by his daughters Pamela Ann Savant of Vidor, TX, Kimberly Ingrid Julian and her husband Jeff of Sour Lake, TX, twin sister Dorris Houston of Frankston, TX, sisters Martha Hicks of Frankston, TX, Mary Phillips of Tyler, TX, Jackie Forrester of New York, TX, and June Brown of Frankston, TX, 2 grandchildren Tiffanee Jordan Simar and Mason Conner Julian. He was preceded in death by his wife Emma Lee McLane.
