Yvonne Crump

Yvonne Crump, 89, of Port Neches, passed away on Friday, February 16th, 2024, at Golden Years Assisted Living in Orange. Born in Noble, LA, Yvonne was a beloved member of the Port Arthur and Port Neches communities, where she made a lasting impact on those around her. Yvonne was a talented entrepreneur, owning and operating Yvonne Hair Fashions in Jefferson City Shopping Center since 1973. Her dedication to her craft and her clients made her salon a cherished part of the community. Beyond her professional pursuits, Yvonne found joy in tending to her flower beds and exploring her creative side through crafts and crochet. She had a knack for creating beautiful napkins and enjoyed sharing her creations with loved ones. Yvonne also had a passion for travel, embracing the opportunity to see new places and experience new adventures. Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Janis Burge and husband Steven of Vidor, TX. She leaves behind her grandsons, Patrick R. Owen and wife Tonya of Groves, TX, and Clayton J. Owen of Crested Butte, CO. Her legacy continues through her great-great-grandchildren: Avery Owen of Groves, TX; Caroline Owen of Crested Butte, CO; Cole Girouard and wife Ashlyn of Beaumont, TX; and Wyatt Girouard of Groves, TX. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James E. Crump, and her parents John and Joesphine Paddie, siblings: Mary, Esther, Elvie, Jewell, Catherine, Christine, and Laverne Paddie, as well as Pete, Dewey, Huey, and TJ Paddie. Yvonne Crump's memory will be cherished by all who knew her. May she rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in the legacy of love and warmth she leaves behind.
